One of the best place to see 360 degrees of Reykjavik skyline is at Perlan, one of the prominent landmark in Reykjavík.  

Located at Öskjuhlíðin, Perlan was originally a cluster of hot water tanks but in 1991 an a building was placed on top of the tanks and with that was transformed into a building that hosts exhitibtions, restaurant, café and an amazing opservation deck.  The huge wrap-around balcony makes it possible to see all around the capital as well as the mountain range beyond. 

The exhitibion "Wonders of Iceland" is currently located at Perlan representing the amazing geological wonders of Iceland.
