What are check-in and check-out times?
Check in at all our hotels is at 14:00 (2 pm) and check out is at 12:00 (noon).
Do you offer an early check-in service?
We offer the possibility of early check in at our hotels with check in before 2 pm. Early check in is subject of availability on the same arrival date and the price is 35 EUR per room at Plaza, Klöpp and Skjaldbreið. 40 EUR per room at Grandi, Arnarhvoll, Miðgarður and Laugavegur and 50 EUR at Þingholt. Do you have a late check-out service?
We offer the possibility of late check out at our hotels with late check out after 12 pm (noon). The late check out is a subject of availability and the price is 30 EUR. Please contact us for late check out at the reception at your hotel.
Do you offer airport transfer?
Airport transfer is not included in the hotel fee, but we can help you book transport to and from the airport with a trusted third party. We do ask for 24 hours notice for bookings. If you prefer to book the transfer yourself, you can book your airport transfer here: centerhotels.com/en/tours
Can you help me book a tour?

I need to change my booking because of COVID-19. Is that possible?

What are you doing in precautions of COVID-19?
During this very challenging situation, we want to assure you that you and our staff are of absolute priority and that health and safety has our complete attention. All of our employees have been fully updated on the current requirements in accordance to the recommendations of the Icelandic Directorate of Health and The Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management and are working in accordance to their advice. Do you have parking spots at the hotels?
All of our hotels are located in the city center of Reykjavik with quite a few public parking facilities nearby. We do have a few parking spaces at Center Hotels Arnarhvoll, Miðgarður by Center Hotels and Center Hotels Laugavegur, but they are all on a first come, first serve basis. It is not possible to book the parking space in advance. Please contact the reception at your hotel when you arrive for more information.
What is included in the rooms?
The rooms at our hotels are different depending on the style of each hotel but they what they have in common is that they are all decorated in a modern scandi comfort. Every room comes packed with those little indulgences we love in a hotel room from a minibar to a flat screen TV. Free wi-fi, telephone, hairdryer, iron and iron board, coffee and tea along with a shower comes as a standard.

Can I upgrade my room?
We have a good variety of room types so it’s possible to get an upgrade if we have the availability. The upgrade price varies between hotels. See the upgrade choices at the hotel of your choice at it's hotel page, centerhotels.com/en/hotels-reykjavik. Theroom upgrade start from EUR 25 per room per night.
Can I get an extra bed for an adult to my room?
Extra beds can be requested, subject to availability. Not all rooms are applicable for this service. You can see if your room is eligible for an extra bed at it's hotel page, centerhotels.com/en/hotels-reykjavik. An extra bed costs from EUR 50 per night.
Can I get an extra bed for a child for my room?
Extra beds for children can be requested, subject to availability. Not all rooms are applicable for this service. You can see if your room is eligible for an extra bed for a child at it's hotel page, centerhotels.com/en/hotels-reykjavik. An extra bed for a child costs from EUR 25 per night.
Can I get a crib sent to my room?
Cribs can be requested, subject to availability. Not all rooms are applicable for a crib. You can see if it is possible to add a crib to your room at the hotels page, centerhotels.com/en/hotels-reykjavik. Cribs are available for EUR 10 per night.
Do you have a luggage storage?
We have luggage storage at our hotels making it possible for you to keep you luggage at your hotel before you check in and after you check out.
Do you have a luggage service?
We have luggage service at our hotels. The service costs EUR 15 per room. For groups of more than 10 rooms we charge EUR 10 per room. The luggage service delivers bags to your room when you arrive, and back to reception when you leave.
What type of breakfast do you offer?
We offer a continental breakfast buffet at all our hotels, including but not limited to: cereal, bread, fruits, toast, egg, bacon, yogurt and pastries. Breakfast is included in your room rate.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served at our hotels between 7am and 10am. Breakfast is included in your room rate.
Can I get an early breakfast?
For early birds heading off on tours, we can arrange an early breakfast from 4 am to 7 am. Included in the early breakfast is a croissant, coffee or tea. Please book your early breakfast the night before.
Can I get breakfast or lunch to take with me?
We can prepare a grab & go bag outside of the normal breakfast service time. Our foodie bag costs ISK 1800 per person. You get a choice of coffee and tea in a takeaway cup, a sandwich, juice, yogurt and fruit. To book a lunch bag to go, please contact your hotel reception. We do ask for 24 hours’ notice to arrange your lunch bag.
Can I get breakfast in bed?
You can have breakfast delivered to your room. Included is a selection of hot and cold dishes from our breakfast buffet as well as coffee, tea and juices for 20 EUR per person. The breakfast in bed is payable at the hotel during check out.
Can I get gluten free/lactose free/vegan options for breakfast?
Yes, we can offer you gluten free bread. In the breakfast buffet you can also find almond milk or other lactose free milk options. Our continental breakfast offers many options for those who have a restricted diet.
Do you have a restaurant at the hotels?
We have four restaurants at our hotels; Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar at Miðgarður by Center Hotels, SKÝ Resturant & Bar at Center Hotels Arnarhvoll, Lóa Bar-Bistro and Stökk at Center Hotels Laugavegur. The restaurants vary but they all offer a variety of courses in Scandinavian style including fish, meat and vegetable dishes. As our valued guest you get 10% discount of the lunch and dinner menus. Do you have a bar at the hotels?
We have bars at a most of our hotels that are open til midnight every day of the week. A selection of beverages along with Happy Hour every day from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Do you have any meal offers?
We offer half board options with room bookings that include either two or three course chef's choice menu at our restaurants. The half board option needs to be pre-booked along with the hotel room booking. A two course lunch or dinner includes a main and the choice between a starter or a dessert for 30 EUR per person. A three course half board dinner or lunch includes a starter, main and a dessert for 35 EUR per person.
Do you have Happy Hour?
We have Happy Hour at our bars every day from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Do you have a spa a the hotels?
We have three spas at our hotels; Miðgarður spa at Miðgarður by Center Hotels, Ísafold spa at Þingholt by Center Hotels and Arnarhvoll wellness center at Center Hotels Arnarhvoll. Can I get a massage at the hotels?

Changing bookings due to COVID-19
If you have a booking with us and you are unable to travel due to the travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 virus you are able to change your booking and re-book free of charge anytime until the end of 2021. I have a booking with you and I need to change my travel dates. What are my options?
We are happy to rebook you, free of charge, to any date of your choosing. There are no rebooking fees. You keep the amount you have paid as a credit towards a new booking, on dates of your choosing. Please email us for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have a non-refundable booking. What are my options?
If you wish to rebook, we are happy to do so free of charge. You keep the amount you have paid as a credit towards a new booking, on dates of your choosing. Please email us your new dates and we will rebook you. Please email us for more information at email@example.com. If you wish to cancel, and not rebook at this time, we offer you to keep the amount you have paid as credit. Please email us for more information. Unfortunately, refunds are not available.
I have a booking through a third party website. What should I do?
If you have made a booking through a third party website, please contact them directly. We offer all guests the option to rebook to any date of their choosing. Please email us for more information or assistance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
