I need to change my booking because of COVID-19. Is that possible?

If you are unable to travel due to the travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 virus you have a few options in regards to changing your booking. What are you doing in precautions of COVID-19?

During this very challenging situation, we want to assure you that you and our staff are of absolute priority and that health and safety has our complete attention. Is airport transport included with my booking?

Airport transfer is not included in the hotel fee, but we can help you book transport to and from the airport with a trusted third party. We do ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. If you prefer, we can give you the details so you can handle the booking yourself.

Can you help me book tours?

If you’ve come to see Iceland’s natural wonders, we can help you choose and book day tours. If you’d like to arrange things before you arrive, drop us a line at If you’d like to arrange the booking yourself, we can give you the contact details of trusted operators.

Can I park close to the hotel?

As all of our hotels are located in the city centre, public parking facilities are always nearby. Center Hotel Arnarhvoll, Midgardur and Laugavegur offer limited parking spaces on a first come, first serve basis. Contact your hotel reception when you arrive for more information.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check in at all our hotels is at 14:00 (2 pm) and check out is at 12:00 (noon).

Do you offer an early check-in service?

You can check in earlier than 14:00 (2 pm) if we have rooms available. Please contact the reception of your hotel the day before you arrive to see if we can help. The early check-in fee starts at EUR 25.

Do you have a late check-out service?

You can check out later than 12:00 (noon) for an additional fee of EUR 25 per room.

Can I upgrade my room?

We have a good variety of room types so it’s nearly always possible to get an upgrade. The upgrade price varies between hotels. See the upgrade choices at the hotel of your choice at The upgrade start from EUR 25 per room per night.

Can I get breakfast or lunch to take with me?

We can prepare a grab & go bag outside of the normal breakfast service time. Our foodie bag costs ISK 1800 per person. You get a choice of coffee and tea in a takeaway cup, a sandwich, juice, yogurt and fruit. To book a lunch bag to go, please contact your hotel reception. We do ask for 24 hours’ notice to arrange your lunch bag.

Do you have a luggage service?

Our luggage service costs EUR 15 per room. For groups of more than 10 rooms we charge EUR 10 per room. The luggage service delivers bags to your room when you arrive, and back to reception when you leave.

Can I get an extra bed for my room?

Extra beds can be requested, subject to availability. Not all rooms are applicable for this service. Check if your room is eligible here. An extra bed costs from EUR 50 per night. To avoid disappointment, we recommend checking with us before you make your booking.

Can I get a crib sent to my room?

Cribs are available for EUR 10 per night. To arrange one for your room please contact the reservation team at or talk to one out team at reception when you arrive.

Can you help me celebrate a special occasion?

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served between 7am and 10am.

Can I get an early breakfast?

For early birds heading off on tours, we can arrange an early breakfast (04:00 to 07:00). Croissant, coffee or tea are included. Please book your early breakfast the night before your tour.
