What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in at all our hotels is at 15:00 (3 pm). However, when you book directly through our website, you can enjoy an earlier check-in at 14:00 (2 pm). Check-out at all our hotels is at 11:00 (11 am).

Can I change the dates of my Center Hotels booking?
Whether you can change your booking dates depends on your reservation rate and conditions. What can I do if I have a non-refundable booking?
Non-refundable bookings cannot be canceled for a refund. Other options may be available depending on the conditions of your reservation and the circumstances involved. Can I book more than one room at Center Hotels?

What time are check-in and check-out at Center Hotels?
Standard check-in at Center Hotels is from 15:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Guests who book directly through the Center Hotels website may receive early check-in from 14:00 and an optional late check-out subject to availability.
Are Center Hotels receptions open 24 hours?
Yes. Our Center Hotels properties have 24-hour reception staff, so someone is always available to assist you during your stay.
Can I check in early at Center Hotels?
Yes. Early check-in depends on room availability on your arrival day. Guests who book directly through the Center Hotels website may check in from 14:00 at no extra charge. If you would like to check in early, please contact your hotel on the day before your arrival. Early check-in prices may vary slightly by hotel.
Can I check in late at night at Center Hotels?
Yes. Our hotel reception is open 24 hours, so you can check in late at night. Your room will be held according to the conditions of your reservation. If you expect to arrive after midnight, we recommend letting the hotel know in advance.
Can I request late check-out?
Yes, but late check-out is always subject to availability on the day of your departure. Guests who book directly through the Center Hotels website may request late check-out until 14:00 at no extra charge. If you would like to check out later, please contact your hotel reception. An additional late check-out charge will apply for guests who haven't booked directly.
Can I store my luggage at Center Hotels before check-in or after check-out?
Yes. Guests staying at our hotels can store their luggage securely at reception before check-in or after check-out, free of charge. Different conditions apply at Þingholt Apartments, where luggage storage is available for an additional charge per storage unit, per day. Please contact the apartment reception at lobbythingholt@centerhotels.com for further information.
Do Center Hotels offer a luggage service?
Yes. A paid luggage service is available at all Center Hotels properties. Our team can deliver your luggage from the reception to your room following check-in and return it to reception before you leave. The service is available for individual guests as well as for groups for an additional charge per room. Please arrange the service with your hotel.
What can I do if I arrive before my room is ready?
If you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your luggage securely at the reception and head out to explore Reykjavík. Early check-in may also be available, subject to room availability on the day. If you arrive during breakfast hours (7:00 – 10:00), you can settle in and enjoy our breakfast buffet for an extra charge while you wait for your room.
Do Center Hotels offer airport transfers?
Airport transfers are not included in your hotel stay, but we can help you book transport to or from Keflavík International Airport through a trusted third-party provider. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you would like assistance. Alternatively, you can book your airport transfer online.
Do Center Hotels offer parking in Reykjavík?
Miðgarður by Center Hotels, Center Hotels Laugavegur and Center Hotels Arnarhvoll each have a small number of complimentary parking spaces. Availability is very limited, spaces cannot be reserved in advance, and parking is not guaranteed. Public street parking and parking garages are available close to all our hotels, with some free public parking options near selected properties. What facilities do Center Hotels rooms include?
Facilities vary by hotel and room category, but all Center Hotels rooms include free Wi-Fi, a television, a telephone, a hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a private bathroom. Many rooms also include a minibar or refrigerator, a desk, and an iron and ironing board. Yes. Þingholt Apartments from Center Hotels offer centrally located hotel apartments in Reykjavík for up to six guests. The apartments include a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, oven and dishwasher, as well as access to laundry facilities. Are Center Hotels rooms cleaned every day?
Room cleaning is available upon request. This helps us reduce water, energy, and chemical use as part of our commitment to more sustainable hotel operations. If you would like your room cleaned, or to have fresh towels or bed linen replaced, let the reception know at check-in or before 12:00 on the day you require the service.
Can I upgrade my room at Center Hotels?

Can I add an extra bed for an adult?
You can request an extra bed for an adult for an additional charge, subject to availability. Extra beds are only available in selected room types. Does Center Hotels have family rooms in Reykjavík?
Yes. Selected Center Hotels properties offer rooms and apartments suitable for families. Depending on the property and room type, accommodation may include sofa beds, extra beds, baby cots or space for several guests. Can I choose between a double bed and twin beds?
Selected Center Hotels rooms can be arranged with either one double bed or two separate single beds. Bed configurations vary by hotel and room category and are subject to availability. Is free Wi-Fi available at Center Hotels in Reykjavík?

Yes. A breakfast buffet is served at all Center Hotels properties in Reykjavík. It includes a selection of hot and cold dishes such as eggs, bacon, bread, pastries, cereals, yogurt and fruit, along with coffee, tea and juice. Guests who book directly through the Center Hotels website can add breakfast at a discounted price when making their reservation. You can also add breakfast later, but the full price will then apply.
Is breakfast included in my stay?
Breakfast is not automatically included in your stay. When booking directly through the Center Hotels website, you can add breakfast at a discounted price during the reservation process. Breakfast can also be added later or purchased at the hotel, but the full price will then apply.
What time is breakfast served at Center Hotels?
The breakfast buffet is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00 at all Center Hotels properties. If you are leaving earlier for a flight or day tour, you can arrange an early breakfast in advance. Simply let the hotel reception know the day before.
Can I have breakfast at Center Hotels if I am not staying at the hotel?
Yes. You are welcome to enjoy the breakfast buffet at Center Hotels even if you are not staying with us. Breakfast is available for an additional charge, served daily from 07:00 to 10:00.
Can I order breakfast in bed?
Yes. Breakfast can be delivered to your hotel room for an additional price. It includes a selection of dishes from our breakfast buffet, along with coffee, tea, and juice. Please arrange breakfast in bed with your hotel reception. The charge will be added to your room bill and paid at check-out.
Is early breakfast available at Center Hotels?
Yes. Guests can have an early breakfast from 03:30 to 07:00 if they leave before the regular breakfast buffet opens. It includes a croissant and your choice of coffee or tea, and you must order it the evening before. Please speak with your hotel reception to order it.
Can Center Hotels prepare breakfast or lunch to take away?
Yes. For an additional charge, we can prepare a Foodie Bag for guests who need breakfast or lunch on the go. It includes a sandwich, juice, yogurt, fruit, and your choice of coffee or tea in a takeaway cup. Please chat with your hotel reception to order your Foodie Bag at least 24 hours in advance.
Does the Center Hotels breakfast include gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes. Our breakfast buffets include options for guests with different dietary needs, including gluten-free bread, plant-based milk, and lactose-free alternatives. Do Center Hotels guests receive a restaurant discount?
Yes. Guests staying at any Center Hotels property receive a discount off the à la carte menu at Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar, Lóa Matur & Vín, and Grandi restaurant & bar. Please let the restaurant team know you are staying with Center Hotels when ordering, and show them your keycard to receive the discount. The discount does not apply to drinks or other special offers unless otherwise stated.
Can I add dinner to my Center Hotels booking?
Yes. You can add a dinner package to your room booking at an additional cost, with a choice of a two- or three-course menu at one of our Center Hotels restaurants. The two-course option includes a main course and a choice of starter or dessert, while the three-course option includes a starter, main course, and dessert. The dinner package must be added in advance when booking your hotel stay.
Is Happy Hour available at Center Hotels bars?

What are the opening hours of the Center Hotels spas?

A few of our hotels have bus stops right in front of their entrances, while others are within a short walk of bus stops in the city center.
