We’re thrilled to share some amazing news with you— our hotels have snagged the prestigious Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award for 2024! This is a huge deal for us, and we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic guests.
Each year, the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards highlight travelers' top picks for destinations, hotels, restaurants, and attractions all around the globe. This award is extra special because it’s based on real reviews and ratings from travelers like you, making it a true mark of excellence in the travel world. Our hotels made the cut thanks to consistently great reviews and high ratings, putting us in the top 10% of all properties on Tripadvisor. We’re so proud to have all eight of our hotels recognized as favorites by travelers.

Grandi by Center Hotels: Located in the vibrant Grandi area, this hotel is a perfect blend of modern comfort and local charm. Thingholt by Center Hotels: Nestled in a stylish, boutique setting, Thingholt offers a chic and cozy vibe. Another one of our properties that offers a relaxing SPA experience at Ísafold SPA or enjoy a drink in Ísafold Lounge and Bar. Happy Hour is from 4-6pm every day and they also offer a great selection of whisky/ey´s for those who enjoy this iconic beverage. It’s the ideal spot for those looking to experience Reykjavik’s unique culture and nightlife.
Miðgarður by Center Hotels: Known for its warm hospitality and relaxing spa, Miðgarður is a haven in the heart of the city. It’s perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Also visit Jörgensen Kitchen and Bar, have a look at their cocktail selection Happy Hour is from 3-6pm and again from 9:30-11pm for a Late night Happy Hour, why not have dinner and then enjoy a Happy Hour nightcap or if you´re there on a weekend pop in for brunch with bottomless bubbles and wine! Center Hotels Arnarhvoll: With stunning views over the bay and Harpa Concert Hall, Arnarhvoll combines modern design with comfort. The rooftop terrace at SKÝ Lounge and Bar is a must-see! Stay a while, have a drink from their specially selected cocktail menu and enjoy what could be considered one of the best views in the city!
Center Hotels Laugavegur: Situated on Reykjavik’s main shopping street, this hotel offers contemporary style and convenience. Step outside and dive into the bustling city life. Lóa Restaurant showcases Mediterranean influences at their lunch buffet, while dinner presents a unique spin on Icelandic classics. Guests of Center Hotels get a 15% discount on food at Lóa Restaurant.
Center Hotels Plaza: Right in the center of Reykjavik on Ingolfstorg square, Plaza is a classic favorite. It’s the go-to for a mix of comfort, style, and easy access to the city’s top attractions. The recently renovated lobby offers a great space to sit back and relax in it´s comfy chairs and couches spread out throughout and the bar also has a Happy Hour every day from 4-6 pm.
