The museum Ásmundarsafn is a hard one to miss since the beautiful and massive sculptures are located in the garden outside of the museum that is a work of art itself. The sculptures are the work of the Icelandic sculptor 

Ásmundur Sveinsson that designed, worked and lived in the beautiful all white building with a magnificent dome structure in the middle.  

The garden is open all year round and inside the museum you are able to see more of Ásmundur's work as well as work of other modern and contemporary artists.
