Every August, Reykjavík explodes with rainbow colors as Reykjavik Pride takes over the city with parades, concerts and a huge celebration of love and diversity. We’re proud sponsors of Reykjavík Pride and love being part of the festivities. 

The highlight of the weekend is the Pride Parade, which gets bigger and more fabulous every year. Starting at Hallgrímskirkja and winding its way through the city streets, the parade is a joyful, creative celebration – each group sharing a message that reflects the realities and voices of the LGBTQIA+ community. It all ends with an open-air concert in Hljómskálagarður park, where the party continues under the summer sky. 

Across our hotels, we keep the party going all weekend long with special events like our Queer Quiz, fabulous Drag Bingo, and late-night Queeraoke. It’s our way of celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and making sure everyone feels welcome, loved, and ready to have fun.
