…and of course vice versa!
Icelandair today announced that they will start flying 4 times a week between Keflavik and Seattle on the American west coast. This new service will commence on July 22nd 2009. Not only will this open up a new market for Iceland as a destination, it will also make the trip from the US to other Scandinavian countries 4 hours shorter than via any other European hub.
Icelandair will also team up with Alaska Airlines in order to offer smooth transfers along the American west coast including destinations like San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Anchorage and San Jose.
